Directed by Josh Knowles, the Lecture Series' first year will feature three speakers in April and May.
The first presentation will be held on April 10th at 7PM and will feature award-winning digital filmmaker Mocha Jean Herrup. Mocha's documentary "POM" (with Joanna Ingalls) won the Audience Choice Awards at Toronto Inside/Out Festival, Cinematexas, and garnered a Director's Choice Award at the Charlotte Film and Video Festival.
Future presentations will feature digital musician Anderson Mills on April 27th and video game designer Randy Smith on May 5th.
The Lecture Series will take place at the Avaya Auditorium in the Applied Computational and Engineering Sciences (ACES) Building on the University of Texas at Austin campus at 24th at Speedway.
